Everyone has experienced waking up late at night followed by insomnia that makes you feel quite anxious. The Ancient Chinese Medicine Clock says that this is related to your health and it means that some of your organs are self-regulating at that time. Your feelings also affect how you sleep at night. Therefore, if you’re under stress, you feel emotional distress or are having nightmares, it might lead to insomnia and even bigger health problems.
Right now we are going to focus on our sleeping problems and what it means when we persistently wake up – or have other sleep-related issues, at the same time.
But, First of all, we have to ask you. Do you experience troubled sleep? Do you often wake up at night? If yes, then at what time do you regularly wake up? Do you often wake up between 3 to 5 am?
A few words first. Our body is full of channels through which energy is directed to our whole body. These channels are called meridians. Some of them are much more important as they carry most of this energy – called Chi energy – in traditional Chinese medicine.
The Spiritual meaning of waking up at 3:00 AM – 5:00 AM
If you wake up regularly between 3:00 AM and 5:00 AM it could mean that you are at the beginning of spiritual awakening. This is your first step so you should embrace it and try to reflect on your dreams since they can give you important messages. It is widely known that 3:00 – 4:00 AM is called the Witching Hour, a time when supernatural forces have the highest power.
In this case, you are probably on a spiritual journey of transformation, so don’t hesitate to think deeply about every aspect of your life. Being awake at these hours can have great benefits for you, as you can concentrate on your dreams, thoughts and feelings, and bring some difficult life decisions.
What can you do?
You can try different techniques to make yourself calm down. Breathing deeply is one of the most efficient methods for relaxation and concentration. Try to find a comfortable position and start to inhale and exhale deeply. Repeating this for a couple of times will help you release the tension and deal with stress. In this condition, you are able to think more carefully about your life.
Prayer also can help you a lot. Depending on your religion or belief, you can speak to the higher power you believe in. When you know there is someone who hears you and cares for you makes you feel safer. So, pour out all of your problems, feelings, conflicts, and pain in prayer.

You can eat bananas, carrots, and avocados, or drink some yogurt. Each of these foods will help you relieve your stress.
11:00 AM – 1:00 AM
Waking up at this time means that you are unhappy and feel disappointed. The solution to these feelings is forgiveness. Do it for yourself, so that you can have peace.
